A short video by Alexander Vido.
The intention of this video is to acknowledge the people working on the production lines wherever they might be. Often, these jobs are perceived as menial and therefore are undervalued. Yet, without these workers the wheels would stop turning and there would be no nuts or bolts. I feel great respect for these people as I’m aware of our mutual interdependence. Highly educated engineers still depend on labourers to execute their ideas. We all take part in different ways to keep things running. We do this to bring our daily bread to the table to share with our loved ones and sometime we hope for some butter too…
From the online Business Dictionary:
“The principle of a production line is that each worker is assigned one very specific task, which he or she simply repeats, and then the process moves to the next worker who does his or her task, until the task is completed and the product is made. It is a way to mass produce goods quickly and efficiently.”
We all can imagine that while production lines increase efficiency, they will also suppress one’s self worth and creativity….
