Description
This oval-shaped beech handle was originally made for Angelo B. hoes. The dimensions on the hoe head end are 36 x 47cm, and the overall length is 125 cm.
These handles, much like a pick axe handle, are friction-fitted. They slide in from the top of the tapered eye. Because the protruding hoe head end of the handle is larger, no wedge is necessary. The head can never fly off during work, yet it can be easily removed for seasonal oiling or replacement of the handle.
